No software to download or install. The only requirements are both parties should have java enabled web browser and both sender/recipient should be online during transferring the files.

How it works?
1. Click "send files" (and click "Run or Trust" if asked, to allow the Java Applet to start) and and you will get the following screen. 3. If you want people to have to enter a password before they can receive your files, click the "Require a Password for this Transfer?" and enter password. And also you can click "Limit the number of download transfers" and enter the number.
4. Drag and drop the files that you want to send onto the blue folder and it generates transfer ID and a link to share with your friends via IM,email... See the screenshot below.
5.The downloading session will start once your friends enter the transfer ID( and password if you have given to your friends). But remember, the browser window should not be closed till the completion of transfer of files.
