Search Google in Unix Style with Goosh
Thursday, June 19, 2008 @ 7:23 PM  ¦ StumbleUpon Toolbar Stumble It!  ¦
If you are bored with regular style of searching Google , then try Goosh that lets you search Google in Unix Style. That means, you need to type commands like you type in UNIX Shell to get the search results.

By default, Goosh will be in web mode. Just type the key word and you will get the search results but only 4 entries . However, you can type m (or more) to get another set of results. For example, to know about " Barack Obama" just type Barack Obama at command line. See the screen shot below.

You can also search wikipedia using Goosh, just type the command wiki followed by a key word. For example type wiki India.

Goosh also let you search images, videos, feeds and even language translations. Just type h or help to know all the commands along with functions.

If you are a Unix fan, then definitely you will like Goosh.
