 Gickr is a simple free web service that lets you create GIF animations from flickr images as well as from youtube videos. No registration required.
How to create GIF avatars from images?
1. Upload images from PC (up to 10 images only) or pull the images from Flickr.

The downside about Gickr is that you can upload only 10 images and you cannot re-order the images once they are uploaded to Gickr. But you can use GIFup.com to create GIF animations from any number of images and also you can drag’n drop images to arrange them in any desired order (via DI).
