With that one however.. you only get to download 1 GB a month.. so if you're a big company that wouldn't be enough storage space anway... I use Data Deposit Box for my online storage

I've tried to store 100 GB of my files, music and videos at an online storage provide like Flipdrive and Mediamax. Does it really work during day-to-day usuage? How much does it cost? Can it replace your local harddrive(s)? Check out my report at my blog if you're interested.

DONT USE MEDIAMAX - its a virtual joke.

They have deleted much of their online blog which was littered with hundreds of complaints. Ticket support items are never (and I mean never) responded to so once you realise your account isn't what it should be, then the fun begins.

There’s a number of user reviews on ZDNet and others by users who have listed their utter disgust at this company.

It seems that the service they provide review mags differs greatly from the real product.

Becareful - this company takes subscriptions and you’ll never here from them again. Do not provide them with your credit card details.

The look reptuable on the outside, but that's clever marketing for you !!!

Do not subscribe to this diabolical service! It has always been sub-standard even when it used to work. Users have put up for years and years with unavailable files that never again became available and so were effectively lost for ever. No compensation, no solution, no response, nothing at all other than promptly charging all their customers as usual every month. Since they tried to upgrade their so-called service about 3 months ago, it has not worked to more that 5% of its supposed function at best. Most of the time is totally inaccessible.

MediaMax is one of the most fragrant fraud stories on the net, stay well clear from it.

DOWN WITH MEDIA MAX BRING BACK STREAMLOAD NO SEACH FUNCTION ARE YOU MAD OR FOOLISH choose one as there was no choice to be CONVERTED to media max if i was on the old streamload set up id be a happy streamload user now i have lost music files work and have been stuck in a situation where i cant use your site as a file back up facility a si cant find them coz of no search function am NO WHERE NEAR A HAPPY USER and if there was an alternative to your service id change right now so the person who make that step will take at least 50 percent of your custom as A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE NOT HAPPY as the board is nt commen knowledge

I had been with Streamload since 2002 and loved their service. Since August of 2006 they have screwed over all of their loyal customers with a disasterous change to MediaMax. I have yet to be able to use the service (like I did Streamload) since then, and even months after canceling my account they are still charging me. DOWN WITH MEDIAMAX!!!!!!!
